At 2E, we’re big fans of the vibrant, atmospheric Old Town area of Clapham that we call home, just a short stroll from Clapham Common Station on the Northern Line. With local streets sporting charming independent bookshops and enticing cafes, there’s always something to do – the Dairy, Fantasia Café, Del Aziz, and The Jam Tree are firm office favourites!
Now, Clapham is becoming an even better place to do business, having just been voted the 40th Business Improvement District (BID) in London. This means greater investment in creating and maintaining a welcoming, attractive environment, increasing footfall through events and marketing, and raising the profile of Clapham as a great place to live, work, and shop.
Local business networking events
As a Clapham-based business service 2E is also active within the local business community. 2E’s Managing Director, Riz, is a member of Clapham BNI a local business-networking group, which refers business to a wide range of local professions. A BNI member since 2011, Riz has previously lead his group as Chapter Director.
Riz also hosts a monthly business networking Meet Up event in Clapham for local businesses to connect and make new business contacts. Free to join, the Meet Up group is held on the first Wednesday of each month and new members are always welcome.
