When would a company document require an apostille?

An apostille a document verification stamp provided by UK Foreign office. This is usually required by a country where the document is going to be used. UK Foreign Office (FCDO) will check the authenticity of a document and confirm it by applying an apostille stamp on it. It is then accepted by the foreign country as an authentic UK document.

Often when a company wants to register a subsidiary company in another country would require to get an apostille on the parent company’s documents such as Certificate of Incorporation, Articles of Association, set of accounts etc.

For a fast and economical way to get an apostille we recommend using our sister concern www.2eApostille.co.uk
